Tuesday Trigger

I'm soooo excited I actually got a little time to play along with this week's Tuesday Trigger over at the Moxie Fab World blog.  You can read about the challenge details HERE.  But basically we were to use this inspiration piece that Cath posted to inspire a new card creation.  It's a ton of fun and the photos that are posted every Tuesday ALWAYS inspire me!  I just need one more day in my week! HA!  So here they are.... the inspo piece and the card I was inspired to create from it!  You can see from the colors and elements how inspired I was! Hee hee!

One last thing!  I still have 3 August card kits left that I haven't been able to collect payment on if anyone would like one.  They are $13.50 including shipping.  Please email me at to request it.... first come first served. :) Here's one of my favorite cards in the kit I will let you have a peeky at!  Christmas is coming!  Hugs! Have a great week!

Checking in with a couple of layouts

I seriously can't believe it's been a week since I posted last.  Feels like I've been living life in the fast lane!  New school year means quieter days but much busier nights.  Homework, volleyball, soccer.... yeah.... you know.  But I'm certainly not complaining.  I'm happy when my family is happy.... and they are happy when they stay active and busy.

I haven't been doing too much on the creative side lately... really... it's been one of those low-key months that way.  For those of you who are wondering where the September Card kit peeks are.... I've decided to take a break this month.  Next month will mark two whole years that I've been doing this monthly kit club now and I have NEVER taken a month off.  I was due.  I promise to be back in action the first week of October and I have some fun cards planned already!  I love HALLOWEEN cards! :)

I did actually get the two layouts below created earlier in the week but never got around to posting them.  This is my cute little daycare babe.... Lexie.  I took some one year old photos of her for her Momma and decided to scrap one of the pictures from the shoot.  THEN...... I was thinking it would be super fun to scrap-lift myself and create a digi version of the same layout using Zoe Pearn's new kit called Indian Summer.  I fell in love with it instantly.  There's soooo many elements in this kit that are perfect for hybrid scrapping projects.  Anyhoooo.... just something I played around with this week.
Hope everyone's having a good one!  Toodles!♥
